Cherry bowl

for "The Ugly" (my friend)...

I enjoy every day more and more to work with wood. Perhaps this is due to the results that I enjoy and satisfy me.
I present you a work which, can say I'm satisfied, and that drives me to continue this activity.
This is the story of Cherry Bowl:

Many thanks to masters David Fisher and Jon Mac for the inspiration offered by their work!

I received this picture from the new owner of the bowl, from Germany. I never thought it can be used as a candle holder:

Swedish-style experiment

Trying to find out what means to carve a spoon inspired from the form of swedish traditional spoons.
Very dry applewood.
I still need a little adjustment of the dimensions and proportions and, of course:) ... a lot of practice!
